“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly blog feature hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. Every week, book bloggers all over the world showcase and share upcoming releases that we want to receive, read and devour.
Here is my pick of the week:
Sixteen-year-old Lucy never thought it would happen to her. She planned on becoming a Broadway star, living out her days with her leading man, Ty. Instead, a new girl walks off with her role and her guy. Lucy flies off the rails and does something completely out of character. Something with consequences she’ll have to live with the rest of her life …
What will she tell her family? Her friends? Off script and without the comforts of her simple high school problems, Lucy must figure out how to live and even embrace a life she thought was all but over.

I almost ignored this book but then something quoted from the back cover caught my attention:
From the Back Cover
Lucy just had the worst week ever. Seriously, mega bad. And suddenly, it’s all too much — she wants out. Out of her house, out of her head, out of her life. She wants to be a whole new Lucy. So she does something the old Lucy would never dream of.
And now her life will never be the same. Now, how will she be able to have a boyfriend? What will she tell her friends? How will she face her family? Now, every moment is a precious gift. She never thought being positive could be so negative. But now, everything’s different … because now she’s living with HIV.
Now I totally wanna read the story!
